| We were the Valparaiso District at the LTM. Dennis, Allen and I were going to Central America, but the rest were going to Chile. Valparaiso is a Chilean city, and the Quetzal is the national bird of Guatemala. | |
| The second lesson. We practiced on anyone (or anything, even cats) who would listen. Here Sister Wardle is giving the lesson using a flannel board. Her investigator, Elder Anderson, used to sing "When Sonny Gets Blue", a popular song of the time, constantly. Drove us nuts. To this day I can't hear it without cringing. | |
